Follow these simple tips when using your MathTV.com CD or subscription to assist you with math homework assignments and test preparation.
| 1. | Work problems out of your textbook every day. |
| 2. | Be in the habit of showing your work so that it looks like the work in your textbook, and like the work of your teacher. |
| 3. | Before you do your homework, read the preceding section in your textbook. |
| 4. | Use your MathTV.com CD or subscription to review material from the previous day. |
| 5. | Ask your teacher good questions when you don't understand a concept or problem. |
| 6. | Use your MathTV.com CD or subscription to preview new material before you attend class. |
| 7. | Try to use the vocabulary in your textbook when you explain problems to a friend, or when you ask your teacher a question. |
| 8. | Find a study partner; check homework regularly with that person. |
| 9. | Use your quizzes to study for chapter tests. |
| 10. | Make a list of problems you find difficult, or that you missed on a test, and work them regularly. |
