Installation
and Basic Operation
All Digital Video Companion CD titles
are designed to operate with the following two applications:
Microsoft Internet Explorer, version 5.0 (or higher).
Real Networks RealPlayer 8 Basic (included on the CD), or higher.
If you experience problems with the operation of this CD, or the
videos it
contains, try downloading the latest updates to RealPlayer and/or Internet
Explorer.
Sound
Problems
Users who have no sound in the videos after
installation of RealPlayer 8 may need to change the sound card
performance from within RealPlayer. Open the RealPlayer window
and from the menu choose View > Preferences,
then select the Performance tab and find Sound Card Compatibility.
Click the Settings button and Disable 16-bit sound. This will set
it to use 8-bit audio.
Web
Browser Issues
Some users have reported that the start
page for the CD they purchased was automatically set to appear
as the home page every time they opened Internet Explorer. If
you have experienced this problem, open Internet Explorer, select
Tools > Internet Options and
change the home page setting to your desired web site address URL.
