  5. 3 cos q - 2 = 0 to the nearest tenth of a degree for 0°£ q £ 360°.

  6. 4 sin q + 3 = 0 to the nearest tenth of a degree for 0°£ q £ 360°.

  7. 4 sin q - csc q = 0 for 0°£ q £ 360°.

  8. sin 2q + 2 sin q = 0 for 0°£ q £ 360°.

  9. 2 cos 2x - sin x -1 = 0 for 0 £ x £ 2p.

  10. cos 2x + 2 cos x - 3 = 0 for 0 £ x £ 2p.

  11. cos 2q = -/2 for 0°£ q £ 360°.

  12. sin x - cos x = 1 for 0 £ x £ 2p.

  13. Eliminate the parameter t from the parametric
    equations: x = 3 + sin t and y = 5 + cos t.

  14. Write y = sin x - cos x in terms of a single trigonometric function and then graph one period.
